		<description><![CDATA[The historic Hiller house was built by German immigrants to Victoria in about 1857, making it one of the oldest standing farm homes in Texas.  The home is the offices of Keep Victoria Beautiful and is available as a public meeting place and rental venue for corporate and private events.  Inside the Hiller house is the Hiller Family Museum with furnishings and memorabilia from the late 1800's home.  Come and visit!

The Athey Nature Area is a 10 acre urban park, part of the City of Victoria Riverside Park System.  On the southwest side of the Hiller house is the nature deck where stories of the Athey Nature area are displayed as well as activities for students grades K-12.  Information on species in the Athey as well as trail maps are also available.  Walking trails range from paved to primitive.
