When you want to see a quality planetarium, one that will make most others seem like they are really little, then you want to visit the Angelo State University Planetarium.  This is one of the largest and technically sophisticated planetarium theaters on any university campus.  The Spitz 512 projector can project over 5,000 stars!

This is the Nation’s fourth largest university planetarium features a three dimensional view of the universe with sparkling stars and celestial fireworks.

The planetarium assists in the training and education of students in physics for work in astronomy, physical science and geology classes.  There are school and public planetarium programs during ASU class sessions.

Admission for public programs: $3 for adults; $2 for children and senior citizens.
